Wing (wu wing yee) was born in Hong Kong, educated in Hong Kong, China, and the United States. She began to exhibit her work since 1988 and has held exhibitions presented by art museums and galleries in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Italy, Iceland, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States.
Wing received her golden awards for Chinese contemporary young ceramic sculptors from Guangdong Museum of Art, Biennial Fine Arts Award grand prize from Hong Kong Urban Council, Sir Edward Youde Memorial Overseas fellowship, and Civitella Ranieri Fellowship (CRF2010). Her sculptures are in the collections of various museums and private collections. She divides her time between Hong Kong, China, and New York.
